This week we are proud to present the interview with XPFarmsLooseX1 player, CHESTbase, aka Sam. The Farms of War Dragons Facebook group created questions. And, here are CHESTbase's answers.
CHESTbase is an officer of popular long-time farm team, XPFarmsLooseX1 and does quite a bit behind the scenes... more than most of you might have ever imagined. Being a farm team and especially an officer on a true farm team is not as easy as it may seem.
Thank you to the fans for creating questions for her, and many thank yous to CHESTbase for taking time out to answer them.
My main’s team was forced to declare war against a few small teams and we felt horrid about it. As a form of compensation, CHESTbase was created for them to treasure hunt during the next event. However, CHESTbase was extremely popular by the end of the event so I kept it on.
How long have you been a farm?
Since April 2017.
What do you like about being a farm?
Members of the farm get to see the game’s best side.
What do you like the least about being a farm?
My base is constantly red and rocking due to attacks. I wish there was a way to turn off the animation.
Our team normally places 20-25th in events, we can’t really build during building events, we can’t really train during training events … but if you love helping people, it’s perfect.
What do you like about this farm team, xpfarmsloosex1?
I love our mission … serving the War Dragons community. We’re helping preserve the game we love by fulfilling the community’s needs. There is a blanket of frustration right now that would be more suffocating if XPfarmsLooseX1 ceased to exist.
You sending emails to all teams in the league farm team is in is awesome but what other things you think can be done for avoid “accidental” wars in near future?
I think the “other” things is already being done. The teams who accidentally declare against us rarely do so again. It has slowly become known as a taboo.
And are there things people in the dragon community could do for helping with that?
The community has been extremely supportive. The negative reinforcement has been efficient and effective.
What would help cut down on the wars of accident?
Maybe requiring sobriety tests before wars can be declared? We’ve actually have players declare on us and think someone else on their team did cause they were loaded. :joy:
How often do you find yourself writing an email in one team’s language to find out you just wrote it in another team’s language?
It doesn’t happen that often anymore since I’ve become somewhat familiar with how the languages look. I now know Russian and Spanish text don’t look alike.:joy::rofl::joy:
