Dally laughed. “It has been a while. But, dear sister, I am always checking up on you.”
It was Obsi’s turn to laugh. “Oh I know, trust me,” she said as she hopped down out of the window and hugged her sister. They sat in the window and chatted for a while about the last few events; The Fight Pits (“Don’t you just love Slender’s invitations? How he claims to invite you but at the bottom of the paper it says ‘attendance is mandatory!’?), Breeding (“I STILL NEED TO HIT LEVEL 84 BEFORE THE NEXT EVENT!!!”) and Feeding (“I have no idea how in the world I fed all those dragons!”). Then Dally sighed and said one word that made Obsi shudder.
“I am so not ready for that!” Obsi whined in an exaggerated tone.
Dally rolled her eyes. “You’ll be fine. Your team is smart and strong. Just read the materials that are out there, and be smart about what you do.”
“Have you read them?”
“Er…no, not yet,” Dally laughed. “I’m waiting until closer to time so I don’t forget it all.”
“And in the middle of all that, we have a Fortification event!”
Dally laughed. “Yes, and I think for once the Fort event will seem like a vacation compared to the learning we all need to do!”
Obsi groaned. “Not for me, unless I get a million speedups!”
Dally smiled and hugged her sister. “You will.” She walked back to the middle of the room and opened a portal back to her base. “Have a good event and good luck in Atlas, Officer Obsi.”
“You too, Dragon Lord Dallyah.”
Dally looked over her shoulder and smiled. “That’s Officer Dallyah to you, missy!”
