She’d reached level 76.
She needed 8 days’ worth of timer spells.
She had 6.
Worst of all, she ultimately needed to fortify her base up to level 84 in order to breed the next dragons on her path.
That, she thought with a shake of her head, is NOT going to happen. Not this time anyway.
Her head builder, Moss, entered the hut and waved to her as he took off his hat and hung it on the rack beside the doorway.
“Bad storm coming,” he said as he crossed the room. “Wind is starting to pick up. You should make your way back to your chambers soon before the rains hit.”
Obsi nodded. “I will. I’m just so angry with myself for not being able to finish leveling where I needed to.”
“Well,” Moss said with a smile, “I was going to send you to Druid Tim so he could tell you, but to save you the trip I’ll do it.” Obsi opened her mouth to speak, but Moss put his hand up to stop her. “Let me finish please,” he laughed. “The Druid found a way for you to breed Ferrox without Whale.”
Obsi clapped her hands excitedly. “Really?”
“Yes, but” the builder cautioned, “you still need to get the base to 84 to breed him with Consergens.”
Obsi nodded. “Well, at least I can participate in breeding.”
“We will need extra eggs for the hut and for research as well, so there’s another opportunity for you to get event points,” Moss added.
Thunder clapped directly over the builder hut, making them both jump. “I’d better get going,” Obsi said. As she made her way to the door, she turned to face Moss and walked backwards as she said, “Please tell your builders for me that they did an excellent job as always, and I thank them for all of their hard work.”
Moss smiled and bowed to his Dragon Lord. “I will, Dragon Lord Obsi. Have a safe walk to your chambers.”
Obsi laughed. “Walk? Heck no I’m running!” She took off across the base and just made it into the doorway when the skies opened up and the sound of the rain drowned out everything else. She took the steps two at a time and locked her chamber door behind her. She flung off her boots and crawled under the covers and fell asleep to the sound of the rain, and dreamed of having enough timers for next time.
