"Why are they flying over your base then?" the rider asked angrily.
Obsi whirled around and looked up at the angry face of her very tall, strong, winged rider. "They're just saying good morning."
Plat snorted and walked into the training hall. Obsi followed.
"How are you liking Leos?" she asked.
Plat motioned to one of the druids to bring Leos from his stall. She led Obsi to the platform and they waited silently for the dragon to emerge. To Obsi's surprise, the druid did not lead the dragon but let the hulking beast walk majestically onto the platform. He held is head regally high as he walked directly toward them and stopped, turned his head, and waited. Before Obsi could ask what he was waiting for, Plat walked over, stood in front of Leos, and raised her arm. Leos then bent his head to her level and she began stroking his mane.
"So I suppose that's my answer," Obsi said smililng.
Plat turned to her and smiled, which was simultaneously creepy and beautiful. "Yes. He is amazing."
"Do...do you think I could pet him?" Obsi asked meekly.
Plat straightened and turned to Obsi. "Of course. I ride him into battle but he is YOUR dragon."
Obsi walked over to them, keenly aware that both were watching her. She reached out and Leos purred, which made her jump. Plat laughed. "It's alright. He's saying hello."
"Hello you beautiful boy," Obsi said as she began to stroke the dragons mane.
A crash outside made the two women jump, and Leos let out an ear piercing roar.
"Time to go!" Plat said, climbing onto the back of the dragon with the help of her huge wings. The roof of the den opened and they flew into the sky to meet the attacker. The crashes stopped, and Plat flew into the distance to revenge.
Obsi sighed, and looked at the druid standing on the other end of the platform.
"Please bring me Arborius," she called. The druid bowed, and turned to fetch the dragon for his Dragon Lord.
