- 1 rage to charge
- 1 rage to discharge
- Does area damage (not much) and stuns buildings affected
I chose this because of its underuse. It first appears on Mune and most recently on Chimerak. Chimerak is super popular of all the dragons for this season. He's got two stun spells, seething spark and earthquake. As earthquake is new and does more damage, I've seen a lot of people grab for that one before seething spark. And don't get me wrong, earthquake is pretty awesome but is limited. Red mages can stop that quick. Now, you might be thinking, "Can't a blue mage stop seething spark?" The answer is yes and no.
Red mages operate by their relative distance to towers, so on the two tower stretch by the Tower of Learning, you can't cast earthquake in between the two if there is a red mage. Blue mages operate by their relative distance to you. What this means for you is that as soon as you round on those same two islands mentioned above, if you have seething spark already charged and blue mage is in the back row (happens more than you think), you can stun five towers immediately. At this point, you can either take out the blue mage or the most threatening tower, whatever the need is.
One last quick fact, seething spark can affect buildings you've already passed on the same island chain.
What has you experience been with this spell?
