The game rewards gamer skill, in the immediate sense of executing a great attack or defense. It also rewards preparation and planning in the mid- and long-term, rewarding me with strong dragons and strong base and a lot of fun. I love both of these aspects.
Teamplay is important for me, ever since I first entered the world of MUDs, online FPS, later the massive MMORPGs and even now in mobile MMOs.
I can play one massive online game only, be in one community only. I burnt out and quit my previous online MMO, Lords Mobile, after leading a team there for months. In WD I soon understood that this may be my game for the long run and, to avoid a burnout I refused to accept an officer post for a long time, and I never wanted to lead a team here. I did become an officer, eventually, but recently, to return to the fun of pure play, I resigned from the officer post.
Sometimes I ask myself if the WD game and the community are worth the hassle with the multitude of burdens, problems and issues that are seemingly omnipresent in this game... so far the answer was always yes. I will keep you updated ;)
