WarDragons.Info special contributor, xVoldaRx, does it again with his amazing editorial and videos on new dragon, Leos - Discount warrior dragon - Winter season 2017
Leos may seem to be a weak dragon in the roster of this 2017 Winter Season but... stay with me and lets analyze this one a bit closer. Maybe he's not that weak as many believe. |
xVoldaRx Flies Level 50 Leos
His spells are:
If we look closer each of his spells, we see that:
What everyone wants a warrior to have besides the increase of his attack ? Well, a way to recover HP. And Leos can recover A LOT !
Many players say "Come on, all it takes is a Blue Mage tower and he's worthless !". Well, this is not that right about Leos. Why ? Because of his two resists, Leos can overcome "the Blue Mage weakness". The driver of Leos only has to concentrate on the Blue Mage and once this is taken down, with the shield up recovering 35% of his health, he plows through the base. If he's lucky and the towers attacking him during the process gets him under 55% health in the first phase of the attack, he will get a 60% attack boost as a bonus all the way till the end of the attack. Now, this is a dragon I like to have !
In my opinion Leos is a better Archimera dragon because of his resists. And better than Zamrok who needs 1 rage to increase his attack by 60%. Is he better than a hunter ?
If that hunter has no low rage white spells, yes ! Definitely yes !
Is he better than a sorcerer ? Because of his unique spells and the fact that warriors are HP tanks, yes.
So guys, if you went for Leos, you have a nice fun dragon to ride. If you didn't, well, maybe it is not too late for getting him.
Here are two videos I made with him at 25 and 28 level - platinum level. He's not too shaby:
- Lion’s Rage - Passive - At low dragon HP, attacks deal massively increased damage. When hp is lower than 55%, attacks leave a burn at the target that increase the damage that building takes by 60%.
- Blazing Shield - Active, 2 Rage, Blue - Reduces incoming damage by 40% and instantly heals for 35% of its health. Spell duration is 3.5 seconds
- Dark Flak Tower Resist - Passive - Reduce damage taken from Dark Flak Towers by 70%.
- Spitfire Turret Resist - Passive - Reduce damage taken from Fire Turrets by 70%.
If we look closer each of his spells, we see that:
- he has a great shield that can help him recover 35% of the health each time it is engaged while it diminishes the incoming attack power by 40% !
- he has a 60% attack boost when his INITIAL health goes under 55%. From my experience with Leos, NO MATER how much health he recovers by using the shield, he's going to keep the same attack boost once his HP went under 55% once ! Awesome !
- he has two great resists against the most powerful defensive towers in the game ! Just remember the last 3.90 update ;-) and how all dragons went down like nothing against these two types of towers.
