The ramblings of a MadHatter
II. No place like home
III. Big Shout ins and outs
Being a leader of a team brings you into contact with a variety of characters through your own in game adventures or that of your team mates. For them just starting out guiding and guarding your own flock, 99% of them are like minded gamers who use this as an avenue to play a decent game, talk to decent people and immerse yourselves in a land away from the trials of real life. Unfortunately there is a tiny percentage who use the game as a personal vendetta against life. The subject of farming is always a hotly debated topic, it's a game where you have to build to gain strong towers, you have to feed your dragons to make them able to compete in events, in raids and bragging rights in team, so you have to go out and get the RSS to be able to do this. I understand that completely, It's the nature of the game. Luckily we are an extremely generous team that can provide these RSS at short notice, I myself have a daily visitor that pops in for the extra stuff while I'm at work (hi Aya) But where does farming stop and bullying start? PG don't care, I've read all their replies so I can say so. I've had a couple of players that were on the brink of quitting the game because of this, these were not a few hits, talking mid teens, maybe 20 per day, to me that's not farming, mailing the leaders only brought fourth a sneer of, "it's a war game" deal with it, so we did ;) . Or the mails from leaders I recall one actually saying " a player from our team, (name with held) had hit one of there's a few times, sort it out as we once farmed Ghost Leaders in diamond almost to the point of them all quitting because of a similar occurrence " diplomacy means different things in different teams I guess. Most of the time it can be sorted out by talking to the team, reworking a base, changing a name or the whole team mass swarming. I prefer the first three, I'm a diplomat, I deal with dick heads daily, I've better uses for heals lol.
Well after a weekend visit to my sisters in Blackpool (England), my game time was extremely limited and for the first time for as long as I know, I didn't hit the top ten in event. Gutted in one way, overjoyed in another as it shows the team doesn't require me in there leading the charge, it was extremely good to get back to the usual addiction and of course my own bed, like finding a good team, there is indeed no place like home.
As it goes well here, I'm going to give some time to send some much well earned love to all MadHatters, may your fires never dwindle and the towers burn easy. Big hugs to my brother, my bro's and sisters, my lady, my princess and everyone else that talks to me on a daily basis and gives me good reasons to keep coming back. Also while the love is being handed out, to BeledinesSoul from League of Souls who after a cheeky ask got me my own cartoon that she does so well. I'm honoured indeed.
